UsePaid, a Solana-based DeFi protocol, has suspended X Money payments due to issues arising from a significant volume spike. The company noted that existing balances remain safe and fees will continue to accrue.

In the meantime, UsePaid is working on a solution and has set up a temporary claims web portal for users to access their funds. However, it did not provide further details about the 'payment issues' it experienced.

The company's X account was created in August and started posting in September, allowing users to redirect creator fees earned from token launches on Pump Fun to users on X via its X Money payments system. Prior to the suspension, UsePaid had just experienced a volume spike of $1.54 million in 24 hours, a 26x increase from previous records.
