Valour Undercuts Rivals with Cheaper Zcash ETP Offering

Valour Inc., the ETP arm of DeFi Technologies, has listed its Zcash exchange-traded product on Sweden's Spotlight Stock Market. This makes Valour the second issuer to offer a regulated, structured product for investors seeking exposure to ZEC in Europe. The new product carries an annual management fee of 1.9%, undercutting 21Shares' physically backed Zcash ETP by nearly 25%.

The 21Shares product was listed on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam just a week earlier, at a 2.5% annual fee. Jacob Lindberg, Chief Revenue Officer at Valour, attributed the rising interest in ZEC to demand from both professional and retail investors for regulated products.

Zcash is built around cryptographic privacy, using technology called zk-SNARKs to shield transaction details from public view. The new product sits inside a portfolio that spans over 100 digital asset ETPs, making it one of the largest single-issuer crypto ETP libraries in Europe.
