VANRY Withdrawal Block Extended on Kraken Amid Forced Liquidation Fears
Vanar's (VANRY) withdrawal block on Kraken has been extended until December 10, 2026, 15:05 UTC, five minutes after the withdrawal deadline of the delisting.
The delisting notice from Kraken listed three cut-off dates: September 11, 2026, when deposits and trading were switched off, December 10, 2026, when withdrawals close, and December 14-18, 2026, when remaining balances will be liquidated automatically.
However, the block on withdrawals has left customers unable to sell or withdraw their VANRY tokens, forcing them into forced liquidation in December, with potential proceeds being 'minimal or nil' due to the token's limited market.
The issue lies with the Vanar team, which paused the legacy contracts on Ethereum and Polygon in mid-September, rendering the token on Kraken unusable for withdrawal or sale.
Two separate data sets exist for VANRY, one for the old token on Ethereum and another for the new token on the Base chain, with the latter trading at a higher price and having a market capitalization of around $2.59 million.
Customers holding VANRY on Kraken are advised to set up records now to evidence any potential loss in December, as the block on withdrawals will prevent them from transferring their tokens out of the exchange.
