Venice Expands VVV Token to Solana via Sunrise Gateway
Venice, the privacy-focused AI platform founded by Erik Voorhees, has expanded its VVV token to the Solana blockchain. The move, confirmed on October 6, 2026, allows Solana users to trade VVV directly in their preferred wallets and decentralized exchanges, thanks to Sunrise, an asset gateway by Wormhole Labs.
The Solana version of VVV has a single canonical mint address: VVV4UdRywr7SLafPHzqXwRCw7myXkmgCtitXUvj8g8c. Sunrise ensured liquidity was available immediately at launch, with trading venues like Raydium now supporting VVV. The token initially launched as an ERC-20 on Base, Ethereum’s layer-2 network, on January 27, 2025, with a total supply of 100 million tokens.
As of early October 2026, approximately 48.5 million VVV tokens are in circulation. Staking VVV grants holders access to AI inference capacity on Venice and the ability to mint DIEM credits. Additionally, Venice reduced VVV’s annual emissions from 2.5 million to 2 million tokens, effective October 1, 2026, and introduced a buy-and-burn mechanism using revenue to remove tokens from circulation.
Venice reported a $100 million annualized revenue run rate as of August 2026 and closed a $65 million Series A funding round in July 2026 at a $1 billion valuation. Voorhees, known for founding ShapeShift, built Venice as a privacy-centric alternative to AI services that store user conversations.
