Visa Teams with Upbit Operator Dunamu for Stablecoin Payment Services

Share

Visa is strengthening its presence in South Korea by partnering with Dunamu, the operator of the country's No. 1 crypto exchange Upbit.

The collaboration will focus on developing financial payment services using stablecoins and artificial intelligence (AI), as announced by Visa in a recent statement.

This deal comes after a similar agreement between Visa and Shinhan Financial Group, one of South Korea's largest financial conglomerates.

Dunamu plans to work with Visa to explore business models based on OUSD, an open-standard stablecoin, as well as new user experiences in payments and settlement.
