The rush to tokenize stocks on Wall Street is getting messy as infrastructure issues and regulatory challenges arise.
Nasdaq has invested $100 million in Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, to develop infrastructure for tokenized equities. The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) partnered with Payward earlier this week to bring tokenized UK shares to market.
