WaterPlum Hackers Disguise Themselves to Steal Cryptocurrency Assets

A North Korean hacking group called WaterPlum has been disguising itself as recruiters to infect over 30,000 devices and steal $10.7 million worth of cryptocurrency assets.

The group's tactics involve creating fake job postings on social media platforms and online forums to lure victims into downloading malware-infected software or providing sensitive information.

This is not the first time WaterPlum has been linked to such attacks, with previous operations targeting individuals and organizations in various sectors.
