Wealthy Investors Hold Crypto But Rarely Build Wealth With It

Nexo's Crypto Integration Index ranks investors from 1 to 10 across five dimensions: crypto portfolio size, holding period, retirement planning, substitution for traditional assets, and risk perception.

Two-thirds of affluent respondents hold crypto, but their average score is just 4.83 out of 10, indicating exposure without deeper commitment.

Risk perception accounts for only 13.6% of the variation in CII scores, while substitution and retirement integration explain more than half of that variation.
