Whales Snap Up Chainlink as Price Corrects
Large Chainlink holders, known as whales, have been buying up LINK tokens after its price corrected by 17% from $13 to around $11.50. According to Pluang, these whales accumulated approximately 10.36 million LINK, worth about $120 million.
This buying activity coincides with Chainlink's network reaching $30 trillion in cumulative transaction value and a 260% surge in its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) volume.
Despite some whale movement of tokens to exchanges signaling possible selling, the overall strong accumulation by whales and institutional players like Grayscale and Bitwise suggests continued confidence in LINK's growth potential. Investors should watch whale activity closely for signs of future selling pressure but the current accumulation points to robust demand.
