Witkoff Earns Nearly $107M from World Liberty Financial Holding

Share

US special envoy Steve Witkoff made nearly $107 million from a holding company affiliated with World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency firm he co-founded with President Donald Trump and members of their families. According to financial disclosures, Witkoff was listed as a 'co-founder emeritus' on the World Liberty website alongside Trump.

The company is operated by Witkoff's son, Zach Witkoff, and Trump's three sons. Critics have raised concerns about the appearance of conflict of interest due to their involvement in World Liberty Financial, which recently secured preliminary approval from the Trump administration to operate as a bank.

In May 2025, World Liberty wrote on X that Witkoff was divesting himself from the firm and had no operational role or financial interest in its deals. However, recent disclosures show that Witkoff earned nearly $107 million from the holding company last year.
