Wyoming has moved its state-backed stablecoin, Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) after a thorough security review by the Wyoming Stable Token Commission.

The decision marks a significant shift in the state's approach to blockchain infrastructure, prioritizing security and reliability over technical capability. The commission chose Chainlink CCIP for its advanced risk management and decentralized oracle networks, which are essential for government-issued digital assets.

FRNT is backed by Wyoming's reserves, ensuring its value remains pegged to the US dollar. The migration process involved rigorous testing and validation to ensure a seamless transition without disrupting the token's functionality.
