X Adds Direct Crypto Trading Buttons to User Feeds

X, a social platform, is working on integrating direct cryptocurrency trading buttons into user feeds.

This new feature builds upon the existing Cashtags functionality, which provides real-time price charts for Solana and Ethereum within posts.

Cashtags debuted in April and facilitated approximately $1 billion in transaction volume within its first two days.

The proposed trading button would allow users to execute transactions directly from the post they're viewing, eliminating the need to navigate to a separate wallet application or exchange platform.
