X, the social media platform owned by Elon Musk, has taken action against alleged operators of a network of Bitcoin-focused accounts.

The company claims that the defendants manipulated engagement on the platform to fraudulently obtain at least $278,000 in creator payouts from X's revenue-sharing program.

X filed a lawsuit in the High Court of England and Wales, naming Vivek Kumar Sen and Zamyang Sherpa as defendants, along with unidentified account operators.

The alleged scheme involved coordinating multiple accounts to boost engagement by reposting and liking one another's content and publishing identical or substantially similar posts.
