Caroline Pham, CEO of MoonPay Institutional and former acting chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), has ignited speculation in the XRP community after sharing a photo from Ripple’s office. The selfie, featuring Pham in front of Ripple’s logo with only the bulging eyes emoji as a caption, quickly garnered attention from XRP supporters.

Many in the community interpreted the post as a hint at potential developments involving Ripple, MoonPay, and XRP. XRP commentator BankXRP noted, “Something big,” while developer Bird added, “All eyes on Ripple.” However, skepticism remained, with some followers questioning the significance of the post. One commenter warned, “Please don’t tease us with nothing burgers,” while another expressed frustration, saying, “Great, another tease that doesn’t move the price.”

This isn’t Pham’s first visit to Ripple. In September 2022, while serving as a CFTC commissioner, she visited Ripple as part of a “learning tour” and shared a photo with CEO Brad Garlinghouse. Garlinghouse described the meeting as a public-private engagement. Pham’s background in engaging with crypto and blockchain companies during her CFTC tenure has fueled speculation about her latest appearance.

Pham now leads MoonPay Institutional, a crypto payments and infrastructure company. The connection between MoonPay and Ripple has added to the buzz, as both companies have expanded their offerings in payments, stablecoins, and institutional infrastructure. However, neither Pham nor Ripple has confirmed any new partnership, product announcement, or XRP-related development. Despite the lack of official statements, the photo continues to stir significant engagement within the XRP community.
