XRP Could Surge 60% If It Holds Key Levels
XRP is currently facing a critical technical test that could dictate its next price movement. Crypto analyst Austin Hilton believes XRP could surge by nearly 60% if it successfully holds above $1.50, breaks past $1.55, and sustains that breakout. Hilton outlined this scenario in a video shared on X, comparing the current price structure to XRP's previous 56.83% rally, which he used to project a potential target near $2.43.
Hilton identified $1.55 as the immediate hurdle XRP must clear. He emphasized the importance of XRP maintaining its position above $1.50 before attempting to surpass $1.55. A sustained move above $1.55 would signal a breakout from the cryptocurrency's recent descending pattern, potentially opening the door to higher Fibonacci levels, including $2.18, $2.40, and $2.57.
The analyst based his projection on XRP's historical performance, noting a previous rally from approximately $0.99 to $1.55. If XRP replicates a similar percentage move from its current price, Hilton estimates it could reach around $2.43, marking a nearly 60% increase. He also acknowledged recent declines in XRP's price, attributing them to broader economic factors such as unemployment concerns, Federal Reserve developments, and geopolitical events.
Hilton's immediate focus for XRP remains clear: defend the $1.50 level, break above $1.55, and maintain that momentum. If these conditions are met, his chart analysis suggests XRP could target the $2.18, $2.57 range, with $2.43 serving as the projected peak based on the previous 56.83% advance.
