XRP Dominance Breaks Above Descending Wedge
XRP's dominance has broken above a descending wedge pattern on its monthly chart as the price recovers and reclaims $1.60.
The recovery in XRP's market share comes after it fell to 3.106% in September before rebounding to 3.448% by the end of the same month, according to CryptoQuant data.
CryptoInsightUK notes that this breakout follows a possible Wyckoff accumulation that completed its spring phase in 2024. The analyst believes XRP's dominance has not fully left the sign of strength (SoS) phase since entering it earlier this year.
The descending wedge started forming after XRP dominance fell from its peak of 5.528% in July 2025, aligning with an all-time high price of $3.6 at the time. However, XRP's dominance broke above the pattern in August 2026, remaining above it since then.
The analyst identifies 6% as the first major resistance level for XRP dominance, which would represent a significant increase from its current level of 3.448%. A move to this level could translate to a market cap of $174 billion or $2.76 per XRP.
