XRP ETFs Hoard Record Amount Ahead of Ripple Escrow Release

U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have accumulated nearly 1.18 billion XRP, roughly the size of the 1 billion XRP that Ripple's escrow can release on October 1.

This hoard makes up about 1.18% of XRP's fixed supply of 100 billion. Bitwise leads with 413.1 million XRP, followed by Franklin Templeton and Canary Capital.

The funds have seen $75.59 million in weekly inflows, but their net assets trail the cumulative inflows of $1.79 billion due to price fluctuations.

Ripple's escrow window opens on October 1 with up to 1 billion XRP available for release, a significant amount considering the 85% of XRP's supply it represents.
