XRP Gains Traction in Public Companies' Treasury Strategies
A growing number of public and public-bound companies are incorporating XRP into their treasury strategies. These companies, led by Evernorth, are no longer just holding onto XRP as a long-term investment, but also using it as collateral, liquidity, and capital for on-chain financial activities.
Evernorth's SEC disclosures reveal plans to hold XRP while deploying capital into lending, liquidity provision, and XRP-based infrastructure. The company has already purchased or committed over 473 million XRP and is approaching a September 30 shareholder vote on its proposed combination with Armada Acquisition Corp. II.
VivoPower took a similar step in 2025 by launching an XRP-focused digital asset treasury strategy alongside a $121 million capital raise, citing the need to diversify treasury assets, generate yield, and provide investors with XRP exposure.
