XRP 'Going to Zero' Warns Crypto Analyst, But Chart Suggests Otherwise
Crypto analyst ChartNerd has warned that XRP is 'still going to zero', but his chart may not be as bearish as it initially appears. The long-term XRP chart shared by the analyst features a prominent descending trendline and a large downward arrow, which could suggest a downward trajectory for the token.
However, upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that the chart's price scale is inverted, with lower prices appearing higher on the vertical axis and vice versa. This changes the interpretation of the trendline and arrows, making them appear as long-term support rather than resistance.
The green markers on the chart represent repeated tests of this trendline, which have held strong despite XRP's price fluctuations. ChartNerd appears to be drawing a parallel between XRP's current structure and its historical setup in 2013-2017, where the token tested the trendline four times before breaking higher during the 2017 bull market.
The analyst believes that XRP may follow a similar path, with the inverted chart pointing to a potential move toward $7.50 from its current price of around $1.30. This is in contrast to other analysts who have set much higher targets for XRP, including $14, $27, and $48.
