XRP Holds Firm at $1.50 as Resistance Zone Looms
XRP's price has been holding steady around $1.50 after reaching an intraday high of $1.6581 on September 23, but failing to hold above the resistance zone of $1.60 to $1.66.
The token's recovery accelerated between September 17 and September 23, climbing from around $1.25 to its peak price. However, profit-taking reversed the move, causing XRP to fall back toward $1.50 by the end of the session.
XRP remains up strongly from last week's lows, but the rejection shows that the resistance zone between $1.60 and $1.66 still holds significant weight. The first major support now sits around $1.40 to $1.42, and a daily close below this area would weaken the recovery and expose the $1.28 to $1.35 support zone.
