XRP Ledger Sees Explosive Growth as Payment Volume Nears $1 Billion

The XRP Ledger has experienced a significant surge in activity, with new account creation skyrocketing by 535.2% to approximately 2,900 and payment volume climbing 894.3% to about $1.08 billion at recent prices of around $1.53.

Active accounts rose by 218.1% to 15,300, while payments more than doubled to 1.2 million transactions, according to the latest network activity dashboard data from finance.biggo.com.

However, unique active users fell by 70.6% to around 140,000, suggesting that growth is concentrated among a smaller group of highly engaged participants rather than broad-based adoption.

The increase in activity coincides with XRP's price recovery from near $1.05 in late August and comes ahead of a busy October schedule for the Ripple ecosystem, which includes a high-profile gathering with South Korean financial institutions and two long-awaited protocol upgrades.
