XRP Ledger Sees Record-Breaking New Account Creation

The XRP Ledger experienced an unprecedented surge in new account creation on September 24. A total of 11,432 new accounts were added to the network, a significant increase from its 30-day average of around 2,700-3,000.

This spike coincided with the rise of XRP's price from $1.40 to $1.60, as well as higher activity among whales and increased institutional positioning in the cryptocurrency.

However, it is essential to note that new account creation does not necessarily translate to new users. Other activities such as exchange funding, custody migrations, and more can also cause similar spikes in account numbers.
