XRP Ledger set for rare 100% consensus fix in 72 hours
The XRP Ledger is preparing for a rare update that has achieved 100% consensus among validators. The fixBatchV1_2 amendment is set to go live on the mainnet within the next 72 hours, surpassing the usual 80% threshold required for such changes. This update was introduced in the xrpld 3.4.1 version released on September 25 and does not require manual voting, as it is a default yes amendment.
The fixBatchV1_2 amendment addresses a minor issue with the Batch feature, though the specific details of the fix have not been disclosed. Developers plan to share a detailed technical report after the amendment is activated. The update is scheduled to take effect on October 9, coinciding with the activation of the BatchV1_1 amendment, provided validator support remains above 80% continuously.
