XRP Ledger Sets New Record with 2,713 Transactions in One Ledger
A recent XRP Ledger record has been set, with 2,713 transactions validated in one ledger. According to Vet, director of community at the XRP Ledger Foundation, this is a new high score for the XRPL.
Vet noted that this achievement coincides with multiple 2,000 transactions per ledger in intervals, which he described as 'impressive'. The largest ledger ever just got validated on September 13, 2026, and it handled the 2,713 transactions with ease, closing in 3.8 seconds.
Vet also highlighted that the vast majority of transactions are 1-drop transactions passed on in a ring of 20 accounts, which is part of 'layers of probing of other bots who fired at the same time'. He added that node operators may need to increase the message size limits of their websocket tx subscription connection if they get 1008 policy errors pulling from their node.
