XRP Price Fluctuations Mask Institutional Momentum
XRP's price has been fluctuating near $1, causing concern among retail investors. However, analyst Brad Kimes of Digital Perspectives points out that the infrastructure necessary to make XRP useful at scale is already in place.
Kimes notes that this isn't a new development, but rather a result of Ripple's institutional relationships and infrastructure work over the past 15 years. These partnerships include ties with the Royal Bank of Canada and the Bank of Montreal, which have been quietly compounding for nearly a decade.
Ripple Prime and Ripple Treasury, rebranded versions of Ripple's acquisitions of Hidden Road and GTreasury, handle $16 trillion in volume annually. This figure predates the integration of digital assets and is now waiting to flow through XRP-based rails instead of legacy ones.
