XRP Remains Unscathed as DigiTap Offers Retail Buyers an Early Entry
The CLARITY Act failed to advance in the Senate on September 15, missing the necessary 60 votes. This setback for the US crypto industry did not affect XRP's legal standing, however. According to Ripple, the token remains on established legal ground despite the failure of the bill.
XRP has a stronger legal foundation due to the 2023 federal court decision that found Ripple's institutional XRP sales violated securities law, while programmatic sales on exchanges did not constitute investment contracts. The SEC and Ripple later dropped their appeals in 2025, leaving the district court rulings intact.
DigiTap, on the other hand, is offering retail buyers an earlier entry point with its presale price of $0.0589 for Round 4, which has already sold more than 90% of its allocation. The remaining tokens are available at this price before DigiTap moves to $0.0594 in the next scheduled presale.
$TAP has also undergone independent audits by Coinsult and SolidProof, providing an additional layer of security for buyers.
