XRP plummeted after a hotter-than-expected inflation print triggered concerns about the Fed's rate path.

The August PPI data showed headline PPI inflation rose to 5.4%, above the expected 5.3%, while core PPI climbed to 4.6%, its highest reading since.

This led to a sharp sell-off in XRP, with the price sliding 4.6% over the past 24 hours to around $1.36.

Long liquidations dominated, with $13.66M wiped out as bullish bets unraveled, even as recent ETF inflows pointed to underlying demand.
