XRP Slides Below $1.50 as Exchange Reserves Climb
XRP's rally lost steam on Thursday as it slipped below $1.50 after briefly topping $1.66 earlier in the week.
The token managed to pierce the $1.60-$1.66 resistance cluster but failed to hold it, triggering a wave of sell orders that pushed prices lower.
Despite another day of steady buying by US-listed spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which pulled in roughly $18 million in fresh capital, the buying did little to offset the broader distribution.
Exchange reserves on Binance climbed to approximately 2.68 billion tokens, indicating that investors were moving coins onto trading venues to lock in profits after the recent surge.
