XRP Spot ETFs Hit $1.5 Billion Amid Institutional Demand

XRP spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have reached a milestone of $1.5 billion in cumulative net inflows as of July 29, 2026, according to data from SosoValue. This achievement is significant because it reflects sustained accumulation by institutional players who continued buying XRP despite its price instability and low retail activity.

The latest trading session recorded daily net inflows entirely attributed to Franklin Templeton's XRPZ ETF. With $254.35 million in assets, Franklin Templeton's XRPZ has absorbed approximately 542,900 XRP tokens into its product. The dominance of one issuer is noteworthy, as institutional investors appear to be routing capital almost exclusively through Franklin Templeton's vehicle.

The concentration of inflows introduces a tension, as the entire market's activity rests on one issuer's client activity. A reversal in flows could quickly deteriorate aggregate numbers. However, cumulative inflows reaching $1.5 billion carries weight, representing real capital commitments locked into regulated ETF wrappers.
