XRP Suppression: Deliberate or Just Market Forces?
XRP's price has been stuck near $1 for some time now, and mainstream analysts have offered few clear explanations. However, a prominent crypto commentator, Digital Asset Investor (@digitalassetbuy), believes that this suppression is deliberate.
He points to the views of a German financial analyst, who described XRP as 'brutally oversold' and agreed with Digital Asset Investor's plan to continue buying it until its price recovers. In Japan, Rakuten Wallet Senior Analyst Yasuo Matsuda also addressed XRP's underperformance directly, stating that it will ultimately show up in the price.
Digital Asset Investor attributes this suppression to Wall Street, which he believes is keeping XRP down until a certain point when its value will surge. He notes that Bitcoin's bear phase typically lasts around 54 days before reversing, and altcoins tend to follow soon after.
The regulatory environment is also expected to accelerate, with the SEC set to propose new 'red crypto' rules in the near future. Digital Asset Investor connects this development directly to XRP, stating that once these rules are implemented, Wall Street will be able to freely invest in XRP and other cryptocurrencies.
