XRP Surges Past Bitcoin: Odds Favor $2 Mark by End of 2026
Ripple's XRP has outperformed Bitcoin in the last two weeks of trading, according to data from CoinGecko. While Bitcoin added 6% in that time, XRP surged 6.5%, and both cryptocurrencies gained 7.1% in the last month.
The odds for XRP exceeding $2.00 by the end of 2026 have increased to 46%, up from 29% one week ago, according to Kalshi traders. A further move that would push XRP above $2.50 is less likely, with odds priced at 24%. This would put XRP back at its highest marker since November 2025.
The token's chart has been highlighted by The Factor Report's Peter Brandt, who implied a potential move to $5.40 in the future. However, traders view a surge that high before the end of the year as unlikely, pricing the odds of XRP getting above $5 at 11%. Returning to its all-time high range around $3.50 carries odds of 18%.
