XRP Traders Scale Back Bets on $1.70 Target Amid Macro Headwinds
Traders on Kalshi have scaled back their expectations that XRP will reach $1.70 by month-end, despite the token's strong quarterly performance.
The shift in positioning reflects a combination of short-term price resistance, macroeconomic headwinds, and lingering security concerns tied to a recent exchange hack.
XRP contracts on Kalshi fell from 36 cents to 32 cents over a 24-hour period, implying a one-in-three chance of a payout if the token reaches $1.70 by September's end.
The token would need to climb about 9.8% within the final days of the month to trigger the contract's condition, and currently trades near $1.55.
