XRP Whales Accumulate as Retail Sells During Price Weakness
XRP's recent downturn has exposed an interesting shift in investor behavior, as retail investors sell their holdings while large holders continue to accumulate.
According to on-chain analytics firm Santiment, wallets holding at least 1 million XRP have increased by 32 over the past three months, even as XRP's market capitalization has fallen roughly 29%.
This divergence suggests that some of XRP's largest holders are using the decline in price to build their positions, rather than abandoning the asset.
XRP's price has struggled to reclaim the $1 level, trading between $1.008 and $1.05 after weeks of sluggish price action.
