XRP Whales Load Up on $742 Million Worth of Tokens
XRP whales have accumulated over $742 million worth of tokens in just five days, sparking questions about how this will impact the price. The large holders' purchases are on top of sustained institutional buying through United States spot XRP ETFs.
According to on-chain data provided by analyst Ali Martinez, whale balances rose from approximately 12.37 billion to 12.80 billion XRP, representing a 470 million token increase worth roughly $724 million at recent prices.
XRP currently trades around $1.55, having rebounded about 28% from the $1.25 area and reaching a local high near $1.58. The recovery is developing alongside an inverse head-and-shoulders structure on the XRP daily chart, with its neckline sitting close to $1.60.
A confirmed move above that level could activate a measured target near $2, representing roughly 30% upside from current levels. However, a rejection could expose XRP price to initial support around $1.53, followed by $1.50, and potentially even lower at $1.46 or $1.32.
