XRP's 70% Rally May Have Had Early Warning Sign: 85 New Millionaire Wallets Emerge
Recent data from Santiment suggests that XRP's 70% price surge in August may have had an early warning sign. According to their analysis, 85 new wallets holding at least 1 million tokens appeared just two days before the rally.
This is significant because larger wallets can absorb supply and strengthen bids while shifting liquidity faster than retail traders. Santiment notes that changes in these numbers often precede XRP's sharpest price moves.
Additionally, Ripple has been making strides in expanding its ecosystem. The company backed an $RLUSD credit fund focused on fintech and payments lending on the XRPL, and ZILO and Licuido investments brought tokenization and transfer-agency capabilities into Ripple's stack.
Santiment considers the setup to be constructive for XRP, with whale wallet numbers remaining high and institutional tokenization giving the asset a story beyond retail hype. However, the company's treasury operations are also moving further towards AI integration, with the announcement of expanding GSmart to handle a wider range of work for enterprise finance teams.
