Veteran trader Peter Brandt has labeled XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) a 'fool coin,' arguing its role in payments doesn't increase its value, especially compared to Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC).

However, ChatGPT pushed back with a more balanced view, disagreeing with Brandt's assertion that payment use lacks investment value. The language model acknowledged that a busy network doesn't automatically drive up a token's price.

XRP is currently trading around $1.48, about 50% lower than it was a year ago, which raises an important question for current holders: can the token actually reflect the value created by its network?
