Zcash Upgrades NU7 Dogecoin Golden Cross Cardano Jumps 11%
Zcash has activated its NU7 upgrade on the public testnet, marking a significant step toward faster transaction processing. The upgrade, which occurred at block 4,465,026, reduces the target block interval from 75 seconds to 25 seconds. This change is currently being tested with valueless coins, allowing developers and infrastructure operators to prepare for the transition. Additionally, NU7 redirects 60% of transaction fees to a future-reward reserve and disables Sprout transactions.
Dogecoin has formed its first golden cross on the daily chart in 14 months, a bullish signal that has caught the attention of traders. The 50-day exponential moving average (EMA) crossed above the 200-day EMA, indicating potential upward momentum. Dogecoin's price has already risen 3.88% in the last 24 hours to USD 0.0962, with key resistance levels at USD 0.095 and USD 0.098. If the bullish trend continues, the next targets could be USD 0.106, USD 0.12, and USD 0.16.
Cardano experienced an 11% surge, driven by increasing futures open interest and positive funding rates. The rally pushed Cardano's price to USD 0.273, surpassing the USD 0.26 resistance level. This movement aligns with recent ecosystem developments, including partnerships with Petrobras to verify sustainability data for aviation fuel and renewable diesel. The next major upside target for Cardano is USD 0.30 if the breakout is confirmed.
Metaplanet has adjusted its capital allocation strategy, aiming to maintain 85%-90% of its assets in Bitcoin. The company also plans to limit Bitcoin-related borrowing to approximately 10% of its BTC holdings’ net asset value.
