Zerostack's Financial Stability in Question Amid 0G Price Plunge
Zerostack, a technology company that integrates blockchain operations, faces financial uncertainty due to a sharp decline in the value of its 0G holdings. As of June 30, Zerostack's 75.1 million 0G tokens were worth $15.17 million, down from $163.33 million at acquisition.
The company had been relying on staking rewards from its 0G tokens to generate operational cash flow, selling 4.94 million 0G for $2.4 million in the first half of the fiscal year. However, this strategy is now under threat as the value of 0G continues to decline.
Zerostack's acquisition of Texas Blocker on July 20 increased its total 0G holdings to 223.77 million, amplifying its exposure to the token's price volatility. The company's balance sheet is heavily weighted towards 0G holdings, and ongoing price drops could lead to further write-downs.
