ZetaChain has announced plans to migrate its Layer 1 blockchain to Solana after token holders overwhelmingly supported a proposal to shift ZETA to Solana as an SPL token.

The proposal, known as Governance Proposal 68, passed with 99.4% support and 58% turnout, exceeding the required quorum of 40%.

ZetaChain cited the growth of its AI application Anuma and rising Cosmos SDK chain maintenance risks as key reasons for abandoning its Layer 1 blockchain.

The project's focus has shifted towards Anuma, a private AI application launched in February with over 300,000 users and 1 million requests across 35 AI models.
