ZetaChain Seeks New Home on Solana Amid Private AI Ambitions
ZetaChain, a blockchain project focused on building an application layer for private AI, has proposed migrating its token and core product to Solana. This move is driven by the success of Anuma, a private multi-model AI application with over 300,000 users that will also be migrated to Solana.
The ZetaChain team believes that Solana's infrastructure is better suited for their product, as it allows for sub-second settlement times and supports agent-scale operations. This will enable the seamless flow of user-owned memory between models, applications, and agents on the Solana network.
Anuma has already achieved significant growth, with 301,195 users as of September 16, surpassing the 300,000 mark on September 15. The app's private memory layer protects AI recollections about users and restricts what the model can see, making it a secure and private experience.
The migration will also bring ZETA, the token behind Anuma, to Solana as a native SPL token. This change will not affect holders' balances or staking positions, with the vesting schedule remaining unchanged. The proposal has been published on ZetaHub, and voting begins on September 17 and lasts for 72 hours.
