Zhao Predicts Bitcoin Will Hit $1 Million Faster Than Expected

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao predicts that Bitcoin will reach $1 million faster than expected and surpass gold's market capitalization. Speaking at the 'Bitcoin Asia' event in Hong Kong, Zhao stated that it would not take 25 years for Bitcoin to hit this milestone.

Zhao emphasized that countries that do not adopt Bitcoin could fall behind, comparing the risks of delaying adoption to those of failing to secure artificial intelligence technology or fostering domestic industries.

BTC has been rising since last week, following reports of increased buyback operations for liquidity support. Its market capitalization is currently $1.6 trillion, still far behind gold's $32.2 trillion.
