Zumo Unveils Groundbreaking Crypto Regulation Tracker for UK Firms
Zumo, a UK digital asset firm, has launched a new tool to help crypto businesses navigate the country's upcoming regulatory framework. The Crypto Regulation Tracker is designed to break down every single regulatory obligation and show firms exactly where it applies.
According to Nick Jones, founder and CEO of Zumo, existing trackers from law firms or consultancies often stop short of practical application. 'We're developing our Tracker as industry operators,' Jones said. 'Building it has meant reading the regime rules right down to the level of every individual obligation, mapping each one to the regulated activity it attaches to, and keeping that mapping current as further papers land.'
The tracker's core feature is its granularity: it maps every individual regulatory obligation to the specific regulated activity it attaches to. This means a firm using the tracker can see which specific rule applies to which specific activity it carries out.
Zumo built the tracker to reflect the dynamic nature of regulation in this space. The mapping is continuously updated as new regulatory papers are released, meaning the tool evolves alongside the regime itself rather than freezing a single snapshot of the rules at launch.
