$292 Economy Skycouch Beds Take Flight with Air New Zealand

Air New Zealand has introduced its latest innovation in economy class: $292 'Economy Skycouch' beds, designed to provide more comfort and space for passengers. The new product is available on select flights from Auckland to Los Angeles and will be rolled out to other routes soon.

The Economy Skycouch features a reclining seat that converts into a bed, allowing passengers to stretch out and relax during the flight. Each seat has its own personal entertainment system, power outlet, and adjustable headrest.

Air New Zealand's Director of Customer Experience, Jodi Williams, stated, 'Our customers told us they wanted more comfort and space in Economy, so we've created a product that meets those needs.'
