Argan Stock Defies ECB Rate Hike with 1.69% Gain to €72.20

Argan stock rose by 1.69% to €72.20 on Friday as the logistics real estate investment trust outperformed the market despite a key interest rate hike by the European Central Bank (ECB).

The ECB raised its main policy rate by 25 basis points to 2.50%, and Argan's stock has historically been sensitive to consumer price indices in the eurozone, which tend to weigh on its performance over the medium term.

However, today's gain demonstrates that the security is resisting this pressure, supported by its operational fundamentals: during the publication of Q1 2026 results (June 1, 2026), Argan reported a return to 100% occupancy rate of its portfolio, as well as the delivery of its first two projects in February 2026.

From a technical perspective, Argan's stock is trading slightly below its 20-day moving average at €72.70, but positioning above the 50-day MA (€70.13) and especially above the 200-day MA (€64.89) confirms that the medium and long-term structure remains constructive.
