AUD Tumbles as Inflation Fears Weigh on US Interest Rate Hopes

The Australian Dollar (AUD) continues its decline against the US Dollar (USD), trading at around 0.6930 for the fifth consecutive day.

This downward trend is largely due to persistent inflation concerns in the US, fueled by elevated energy costs and expectations of higher interest rates.

Economists expect the September employment data release to show a slowdown in job growth from 162,000 in August to 90,000, with the Unemployment Rate remaining at 4.1%.
