Canada Recruits Kenyan Skilled Professionals Amid Labour Shortages
Canada's Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced multiple pathways for Kenyan professionals seeking to relocate and work in the country. The six priority sectors experiencing high demand for skilled labour are STEM, healthcare, skilled trades, defence and cybersecurity, critical minerals, and education.
The IRCC outlined six benefits available to international talent, including career opportunities with a wide range of employers, safe and stable communities, access to high-quality education and training, and services to help newcomers settle and feel welcome.
Canada's expanding economy is generating strong demand for qualified workers in these fields, with domestic supply unable to meet current workforce needs. The IRCC confirmed that several immigration routes exist for foreign nationals who wish to build careers and settle permanently in Canada.
