The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has announced the official exchange rates for August 24, 2026. The dollar and euro have both increased in value against the Ukrainian hryvnia. The US dollar rose by 4 kopecks to reach 44.65 UAH, while the euro increased by 11 kopecks to 52.24 UAH.

This is according to data on the NBU's website, which shows that these rates are higher than those of August 21. The Russian ruble has also been affected, with the dollar exchange rate rising above 85 rubles for the first time in nearly a year due to declining export revenues and falling oil prices.
