Dollar Exchange Rate Rises in Baghdad as Iraqi Economy Evolves

The US dollar exchange rate has risen in Baghdad, Iraq's capital, but remained stable in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region. On Thursday, the exchange rate at al-Kifah and al-Harithiya stock exchanges reached 1,547.5 Iraqi dinars per US dollar, up from 1,546.5 dinars earlier that morning.

Exchange rates in currency shops in Baghdad also increased, ranging between 1,552.5 and 1,542.5 Iraqi dinars per US dollar, according to Shafaq News.

In Erbil, the exchange rate remained steady, fluctuating between 1,546 and 1,545.5 Iraqi dinars per US dollar.
