Dollar Slumps as US-Iran Tensions Ease

The US dollar declined against its major peers at the start of Asian trading on Monday after the US paused its bombing campaign in Iran over the weekend.

This move prompted a significant drop in oil prices and boosted global investor confidence, leading to the decline in the value of the dollar.

Against the yen, the US dollar dropped 0.2% to 163.585 yen, its largest decline since July 10.
