EUR/USD Exchange Rate Climbs on US Yield Decline and Eurozone Growth
The EUR/USD exchange rate closed last week near 1.1530 after gaining about 1.4%, driven by a post-Federal Reserve decline in US yields and stronger Eurozone growth and inflation.
ING expects the pair to remain supported around 1.1500, but considers breaking above 1.1600 more difficult.
According to ING, stretched Dollar positioning may still generate further gains for EUR/USD, with buyers potentially emerging at this level.
